DENTAL IMPLANTS CARABANCHEL

At our dental clinic in Carabanchel, we are experts and a reference center in dental implants in Carabanchel, under the direction of Dr. Tomás Hernán, who has extensive experience and training in this field. We also have state-of-the-art technology to perform dental treatments.

What are
dental implants?

Dental implants are a small titanium piece that is inserted into the bone through a surgical procedure and acts as the tooth root, providing support to the crown or prosthesis that is made and placed on it.

This is one of the best solutions today for replacing missing teeth, provided there are no contraindications once assessed by Dr. Tomás Hernán.

Frequently asked questions

Preliminary Tests

Once Dr. Tomás Hernán assesses your case, he will prescribe the complementary tests he deems necessary to treat your dental implant case.

Generally, we first perform a comprehensive assessment of your oral health with a panoramic X-ray and subsequently complement this study with more specific tests (CT scan).

How long does the complete treatment take?

Our dentist, Dr. Tomás Hernán, will indicate the complexity of your case and will explain in detail all aspects of your dental implant case and the procedures that may be necessary, as well as the estimated time required to resolve your case.

What would be the first step?

First, we recommend that you schedule an appointment at our Dental Clinic in Carabanchel so that Dr. Tomás Hernán can thoroughly assess your dental implant case.

If you already have any complementary tests (panoramic X-ray or CT scan), it is advisable to bring them on the day of your appointment.

Bone Grafts and Bone Regeneration

If necessary, Dr. Tomás Hernán holds a Master’s degree in Oral Surgery from the Complutense University of Madrid, in addition to having extensive experience as an associate dentist in the Stomatology Service at Gregorio Marañón University General Hospital.

He will assess what type of intervention prior to or simultaneous with implant placement you may need and, should you require bone grafts or bone regeneration, he can provide a solution (block bone grafts, guided bone regeneration, maxillary sinus lift…).

We also assess the condition of the soft tissues around the implant and can offer you the possibility of mucogingival surgery.
